He’s done it – Roger Federer wins 15th Grandslam title

For those who know me, I think this post was expected 😉

Federer wins his 6th Wimbledon title and 15th Grandslam title.

He is back to world number 1…again!

History was made last night. He stands alone now.

Unconquered. Unprecedented.

And he is far from finished.

  1. Yes he is far from finished… !! I concur… he is the finest… EVER !!!!

but i m still reeling from the feel sorry for Roddick… !!! last nights match was one of the best … an epic… and amazinly very few unforced errors… it was an unbelievable match !!!

    • Yeah man. Feel gutted for Roddick. He did almost everything right. But thats the game. Theres always a loser.

Classic match. Big relief he’s getting past all these milestones now. Only time will tell where he’s finally gonna end up.

    • Yeah, though I was rooting for Federer all along, I almost felt Roddick deserved to win this one. More so coz he played the better tennis. He was awesome. In the end, it really didn’t matter who won or lost. Enthralling match.

    • haha that would be embarrassing. But yes, I do follow his game quite passionately.

Didn’t know you’re back. Just hopped onto your blog to indeed see that you are back to blogging! 🙂

    • yes, undoubtedly. Roddick played much better tennis and Fed was performing below par…as compared to his usually high lofty standards. Federer was lucky to win this one.
