Lots happening.
Just completed buying a house in India. Starting construction on a another piece of land next month. And in the process of shifting into a bigger house here in UAE. Talk about family expansion plans!
Adding to that, my darling little sister (my only sis) is expecting her first baby in May. Super excited. She’s staying with us now and I love doing things for her (though I may crib about it a bit but you know I love you sis). Contributing in my own little way. Hope every thing works out smoothly for her.
And to top it all, my elder bro is back from US with his wife and new-born daughter. Yep, she is a yumrican citizen! House is gonna buzz with kids.
Received next fiscal year’s plan at work two days back. Looks like our department is in for a raw deal. Add to that the low clarity about our annual salary hike, then its really really hazy. Lets see how things shape up.
And I’ve finally started a balanced diet last week. No more crash diets like Atkins. Have already lost 3 kg in 9 days of diet. But on a 6’1″ frame, that’s like pocket change. So got a bit more to go. With summers starting, trying my best to gear up for a roasting season ahead.
Wifey still in India. Looks like she’ll be back in a couple of weeks. Ibrahim has become a handful or so I’ve heard. Every time I call my wife, he takes the phone from her and says ‘elaa’ (that’s hello in his language!) and then says ‘baba’ a few times and then the thing he’s associated best with me ‘brum brum broooom’ (as in driving a car!). I just love it. Makes my day when he does that. Ready to shell out my last penny on international calls just to hear that. Waiting for them to be back in May.

Moving houses is fun. But it is extremely hectic and tiring. We are currently in process of finalizing a place. Got a few shortlisted ones. But still a couple of weeks before we actually move. Gonna be crazy.
